About Central Luzon State University

  

Located in Science City of Munoz, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, 150 kilometers north of Manila. It started as a farm school and in 1907 it became Central Luzon Agricultural School. Now, it’s established as Central Luzon State University (CLSU), one of government university in Philippines.

Until February, 2024, CLSU is led by President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella. There are also four vice presidents, Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco as Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Edgar A. Orden as Vice President for Research and Extension, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo as Vice President for Business Affairs, and Dr. Ariel G. Mactal as Vice President for Administration.

CLSU offers a diverse array of undergraduate and graduate programs. There is a lot of colleges in CLSU, such as College of Education, College of Agriculture, College of Arts and Social Sciences, College of Business Administration and Accountancy, College of Engineering, College of Fisheries, College of Home Science and Industry, College of Science, and also College of Veterinary Science and Medicine. There is also a Distance, Open, and Transnational University (DOT Uni) for people overseas who like to study in CLSU.

CLSU is also equipped by many facilities. The students, lectures, and staffs can grab their meal at University Canteen, New Market, or Alumni Canteen. If someone needs medical treatment, there is an infirmary inside CLSU. For staying here, there is a lot of choices, such as dormitory, guest house, and even hostel. There is also CLSU village for the lectures and staffs. And of course, there are places for students doing their activity beside school, such as gymnasium, auditory, tennis court, basketball court, etc.
